Pneumatic cylinder for automated process control in DRI and flux handling; hydraulic for high-force applications; manual hand wheel for maintenance isolation points.

Sealing Type

Standard sealing for coarse materials like pellets and coke; low-leakage seals for fine DRI fines and flux powder to prevent material loss and dust emissions.

Seating Configuration

Hard seated (metal-to-metal) for hot DRI at temperatures up to 400°C; soft seated with high-temperature silicone or Viton seals for ambient iron ore and flux service.

Port Shape

Circular ports for pipeline connections in DRI transfer systems; square and rectangular ports for hopper and chute installations in flux and coke handling.

Body Material

Installed at rotary kiln discharge ends to control hot DRI flow to cooling systems, with hard-seated metal construction rated for temperatures up to 400°C.
Blast Furnace Flux Feeding
Positioned at flux (limestone, dolomite) storage bin outlets to regulate feed rate to blast furnace skip hoists or belt charging systems.
Coke Oven Feed Hopper
Mounted at coke breeze and coke hopper discharge points to control material feed to sinter plant or blast furnace burden preparation systems.
